WMC party ticket prices are about to go up…way up within the next 48 hours. Paying at the door can be 30-50% higher than the presale ticket price- if the tickets are even available at all! You can plan on many of the more popular events selling out, so if you have your heart set on a certain party, don’t chance it- buy tickets in advance.
Here are four easy options for you if you haven’t already planned your week or just want to add to it.

10 Years of Saw Recordings
The Glitch Mob brings West Coast Sound to Winter Music Conference 2010, delivering a hybrid musical experience of heavy-slamming electronic music with backbone of hip hop beats, infused with the sound of the future and knocked over the head with ridiculous waves of rib-crushing bass.
The three-man mob is made up of Edit, Ooah and Boreta who talks to DF5K about the group’s plans for Miami, their upcoming tour and the new Glitch Mob album dropping later this spring.
Is this your first time to Winter Music Conference?
This is the first Glitch Mob show at WMC. We’ve been before individually.
What are you looking forward to most about your trip to Miami?
The beach! And awesome Cuban food.
The Glitch Mob is playing at the Ultra Music Festival on March 27 on the Biscayne Stage. Do you guys do anything differently when playing at massive raves as opposed to smaller concerts?
We don’t change our set depending on where we’re playing. It will get modified over time as new songs are added and we come up with new things to do. But in general, we just do our thing.
Will it be all business for the Glitch Mob in Miami, or are you planning on some pleasure as well? Any particular parties you are excited about attending or artists that you want to hear?
We are looking forward to hearing some great music on the amazing sound systems and hanging out with folks down there. Miami is such a unique vibrant place, there’s really no place like it. We can’t hang out long though because we have to get home and keep practicing our set for the upcoming tour.
What can fans expect from the Glitch Mob’s new album dropping this year? Does it have a name yet?
Our debut album Drink The Sea will be coming out on May 25th on our label Glass Air. It’s a culmination of many many many hours in the studio, and it’s a whole new direction for us. We’re really excited to share it with everyone.
What have been your favorite festivals to perform at so far?
That’s hard to say. Every festival has it’s perks. Playing Lollapalooza last year was amazing – it’s a giant festival smack dab in the middle of downtown Chicago. Playing alongside artists like TV on the Radio, Tool and Animal Collective was really inspiring.

The Glitch Mob is playing at the Ultra Music Festival on March 27 on the Biscayne Stage; you can also catch them on their upcoming tour with Free the Robots and Deru which kicks of at the Coachella Music Festival in California.
Their new album Drink the Sea comes out May 25.

Interview with BORETA of the Glitch Mob
No cover, no waiting in line and free drinks would interest anyone attending Winter Music Conference but I have to admit I was very skeptical. How much is it going to cost me, which parties does it include and what does the fine print say. After my thorough review I have to say the Mixology VIP Weekend Wristbands are the real thing and are one of the best values of WMC 2010.
There website might need some help (aweful design) but their wristbands could not be any better. Seven amazing parties that will sell out, no waiting in line, personal escort into the party and open bar for reasonable prices. Here are the facts without all the bullshit.
The wristbands are good from Friday to Sunday at Nocturnal, Shore Club, Karu & Y and Nikki Beach for the below parties.
Parties
Wristband Levels & Cost
White Wristband ($100) gets you into Next Aid, Judge Jules and Sharam parties without waiting in line
Gold Wristband ($250) gets you into all seven of the parties without waiting in line, plus, access to VIP areas and VIP bar, no drinks included. (you end up spending $15 more for this package then you would if you were to purchase tickets for these parties individually, so $15 don’t ever have to wait in line is a deal)
Blue Wristband $500 gets you all the above plus sponsored drinks at Karu & Y and Nocturnal (best deal if you don’t drink much)
Black Wristband $1,000 gets you all the above plus open bar at all the parties and “personal concierge” aka a model for the bar and entrance. Plus, a meet and greet with the DJs.(best deal if you intend on drinking a lot and enjoy personal service)
Use These Codes to Save You Money!
$25.00 Off Gold Wristbands – WBIT14236U7Z6

History – Mixology’s Winter Music Conference Closing Parties are legendary. With this, the 10 Year Anniversary of Mixology at WMC, this closing party will be one for the record books. The event is known for always having an unnamed, unannounced, “Special Guest DJ” with past alum being the true titans of dance music. Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Steve Lawler, Erick Morillo, Robbie Rivera, Seb Fontaine BT, Eddie Halliwell, Benny Benassi, Darren Emerson Sandra Collins Christopher Lawrence, to name a few.

Mixology VIP Weekend Wristbands for WMC 2010
With each Winter Music Conference there comes a new wristband or someone claiming an “all access pass”. Ranging from $100 to $10,000, yes five zeros!, with perks such as a t-shirt to a premium open bar, the question is which ones are really worth it. The simple answer is that it all depends on what parties you want to attend vs. which parties the pass gets you into and the perks that come along with it. Of course parties and perks change each year so doing your research before you drop $100+ is important. For last month we have been doing our own research and drilling the organizations pushing these “make your Winter Music Conference week a whole lot better” tickets. Here is our complete guide to all of the 2010 WMC wristbands and passes.

The obvious benefit of buying anyone of these ticket package bundles is savings and not having to wait in line. By bundling tickets you can pay one fee saving anywhere from 10-30% off the ticket prices if you were to buy them separate. Whatever 2010 WMC wristband or pass you decide to buy, get them sooner rather then later to avoid a price increase or being sold out.

Finally someone has developed a useful and inexpensive tool for professional partygoers to create a music festival plan of attack! The “WMC Mobile Guide” built by nightlyfe has arrived, and Winter Music Conference 2010 attendees now have mobile access to an updated listing of Miami parties, venues, maps and festival information. Even better, the WMC iPhone App can be used to plan your personal party schedule as you hop from event to show to beach to pool to bar to rave to the roof and beyond!
The WMC iPhone App is available for download on iTunes for FREE to the first 1,000 people and $1.99 after that. With it you can do all of the following from the palm of your hand, ruling the festival with your party panache, a Winter Music Conference wizard of the first order:
From nightlyfe Founder and CEO Kalin Moon:
After visiting Winter Music Conference from New York for the last three years, I struggled with not only navigating the City of Miami but the hundreds of parties happening throughout the week. With this app anyone can plan their entire week in five minutes and know where they are going all the time. Simply, the app provides a more enjoyable Winter Music Conference experience…which is one of the cornerstones of what we do here at nightlyfe. Building technology that enhances the nightlife experience.
